Chat Rules & Community Guidelines
1. Respect and Civility
BloxTrade is a community platform where users interact with one another. We expect all members to treat each other with respect and courtesy. Any form of harassment, bullying, or disrespectful behavior is not tolerated.
2. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited:
- Hate Speech: Content that attacks individuals based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or other protected characteristics
- Profanity and Obscenity: Excessive swearing, vulgar language, or sexually explicit content
- Threats and Violence: Any threats of violence or content promoting harm to others
- Spam: Repetitive messages, advertisements, or irrelevant content
- Scams and Fraud: Messages attempting to deceive, defraud, or manipulate other users
- Misinformation: Deliberately spreading false information to mislead users
- Personal Information: Sharing or requesting others' personal information (phone numbers, addresses, passwords, etc.)
3. Appropriate Language
Users should communicate in English and avoid excessive slang or intentionally unclear messages. Keep conversations focused on trading and platform-related topics.
4. No Financial Advice
Users should not provide financial advice, guaranteed investment returns, or make claims about future price movements. All trading carries risk, and users should conduct their own research before making trading decisions.
5. No Promotion of Illegal Activities
Users must not promote, encourage, or engage in any illegal activities including but not limited to:
- Money laundering
- Fraud or theft
- Account hacking or unauthorized access
- Price manipulation or collusion
- Any other illegal activities
6. Spam and Flooding
Do not spam the chat with repetitive messages, advertisements, or irrelevant content. Users who flood the chat will have messages deleted and may face account restrictions.
7. Impersonation
Do not impersonate other users, moderators, administrators, or representatives of BloxTrade. This includes creating accounts with names designed to deceive other users.
8. Moderator Respect
Moderators and administrators are here to maintain a safe and pleasant community. Users must respect moderator decisions and not argue with or abuse moderators. If you disagree with a moderation decision, contact support through proper channels.
9. Off-Topic Content
Keep conversations focused on trading and the BloxTrade platform. Excessive off-topic discussions may result in messages being deleted or users being muted.
10. Consequences
Users who violate these chat rules may face the following consequences, depending on the severity and frequency of violations:
- Warning: First-time minor violations
- Mute: Temporary restriction from chat (1 hour to 24 hours)
- Suspension: Temporary account suspension (24 hours to 7 days)
- Permanent Ban: Permanent removal from the platform for severe or repeated violations
11. Reporting Violations
If you encounter a user violating these chat rules, please report them using the report feature on the platform. Provide details about the violation so moderators can take appropriate action.
12. Appeals
If you believe you have been unfairly moderated, you can appeal the decision by contacting our support team with details about the situation. Our team will review your appeal and respond accordingly.
